If you or anyone you know wanna take your guitar playing to the next level, then John Lilley is the man to help you. He's taught me so much about the how's and why's of guitar playing and is constantly taking me to that next level to be a better player and musician, not only playing but also understanding what im playing. He's the reason im confident about my big Vegas show!

I've noticed a subtle but at the same time massive shift in my approach to playing, from chord voicing, positional playing, an improved ear...just a bunch of little shifts that add up to a more confident player (and I first started on classical guitar when I was eight). I reached a point where I thought I was far enough along to get by, and then life happened and basically didn't play for 20 years. John brought me back."
Great lesson today. I always appreciate the mix of theory and application with the sprinkling of "ah ha" or in my case "duh" moments but what I really dig are the performance-oriented tips, tricks and general stage advice (like how to play nice with others). Cheers, and see you at the ITP show!

"Being taught music by the American guitar master John Lilley is such an inspiring part of my life these days. Sitting down with my guitar with him is literally going to the musical well of knowledge. You know, he got to play guitar with Doc Watson as a child....How cool is that!"
Thank you for sharing all your knowledge John!

If you know Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Escalator of Life, All You Zombies, And We Danced, etc. then you know John Lilley. He's played Live Aid, The Wall in Berlin w/ Roger Waters, and countless tours all over the world. He is a great teacher. You will learn how to play any style (trust me, I'm all over the place) and, more importantly, you will learn the "whys". He totally changed how I approach the guitar and it's always a good hang. I'm lucky I get to learn from him and now you can be lucky too. And he didn't pay me to write this. (But I do accept Paypal).

"John is the best guitar teacher I have ever had.
He opened up my skills to areas I never thought I would achieve for performing, writing and my confidence.
He also taught me about discipline in the guitar lessons, theory and the ability to perform lead guitar solos."
